Three weeks after being hired by the Clearfield Hospital as an LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) Lynda Kerr saw her opportunity to steal narcotics. She was immediately fired and arrested, criminally charged and convicted.
She had stolen 108 carpujects of Demerol and was charged and convicted of Theft by Unlawful Taking or Disposition, Receiving Stolen Property, and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Less than a month later Ms. Kerr would find herself in the home of a neighbor, babysitting her infant child. She stole jewelry, money, medication, and clothing from the home. The homeowner called the police who investigated and found Lynda’s fingerprints in the medicine cabinet, on the jewelry box, and in other places in the house. She was arrested and convicted.

Between the Clearfield Hospital theft, arrest, and conviction which was immediately followed by the theft from her neighbor’s home, Ms. Kerr had a very busy summer.
